JIM GEORGE

Jim George comes from a long line of musicians.  His great-Great-Great grandfather, Wolfgang Amadeus George, was a sort-of-well-known composer who had an impact on the music world with his “Grand Mass in C minor/augmented.”  His Great-Grand-Uncle Thaddeus George started the Underground Musical Railroad, offering recording contracts to sharecroppers who could really SHRED.  Then, more recently, Jim was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for discovering a form of rhythm that assures the perpetual ability of any listener to shake their booty, whether a pre-teen or an octogenarian.

Seriously, Jim has devoted the past thirty years to honing his craft, and developing his love of all things music.   His passion is drumming, and his focus is songwriting, which he finally gets to showcase on “Where Prohibited.”

“I’m grateful,” Jim says, “that I have finally found a group of like-minded individuals, all willing to work toward the same goal: carefully crafting rock and roll originals,” adding, “This is one of the best groups of musicians I have ever had the pleasure of working with.”
